Praise God June 24, 2007

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to personally praise God on the ruling of sole physical and legal custody of Isabella to me.  I know God was in control of that decision.  He had total victory for what He intended to happen.  I praise Him and am thankful that He is faithful and just for His children.  Not only am I His child but so is Isabella.  He did what He felt best for Isabella- and that was to keep her with me.

As I was coming over to a friend’s house today after church I heard on the radio a preacher quoting scripture from Esther.  Not a coincidence since for the last two weeks the book of Esther has been the topic of family devotions.  We have studied Esther, we have prayed as Esther had, we acted as both Esther and Mordecai had acted when faced with opposition.  The pastor today on the radio relayed the message of Mordecai and how he said to Esther “How do you know you were not created for such a time as this?”  The pastor went on to say that we as Christians have a time created for us that we are to stand for the Lord.  This is my time and I know that He will give me the strength and the victory through Him- not only for me but for my daughter.

Thank you for your continued prayers.  There are no coincidences. “God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” Romans 8:28

My husband and I are in a similar position to you, Lisa–forced to comply with court-ordered visitation that is damaging and distressing to the children. In our case, it is their biological mom (drug addict, bisexual) who has re-entered the scene and demanded to “get to know” her children after abandoning them. Our prayers are with Isabella, as she endures the visits. Please pray for our two boys–aged 5 and almost 3. They are so vulnerable.

I’m not sure, so I’m going to ask. Does this mean that Isabella doesn’t have to have any contact with Ms. Jenkins anymore? Oh, I hope that’s the case. I just found out about your awful situation, and I’ll probably be praying for Isabella for the rest of my life. That kind of start in life is bound to leave scars, KWIM?

I know that we all have to deal with the consequences of our past sins (BTDT). But, as I have learned, having God with you will make dealing with those consequences a whole lot easier than not having Him there!

I just heard about your story and felt I should add a praise to almighty God along with yours. Although I didn’t pray for you cause I didn’t know anything till 5 min. ago, I thank God for you and hope you, along millions of christians across the globe that God has called to be His children, fight the good fight untill the END! He will always be there to support you!

ALWAYS trust in HIM and you will always have green leaves and give fruit to HIM!

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” -Jer.17:7

God bless you and your little one!

John, Greece.

Thank you all for your kind words. After a year of being inactive on my site, I just logged on and saw your comments. Thank you for supporting me in the Lord’s work.

Please check back often, for I will be posting frequently.

I encourage you to check out facebook.com Once you are signed in type in Only One Mommy in the search engine. Scroll down until you see Only One Mommy: The story of Lisa and Isabella. This site has all the up to date info. on my case.

We are fighting a cultural battle and my case epitomizes the decline of our nation. We as Christians need to be aware of what is going on around us. Once we have that awareness we need to prayerfully consider how God wants us to act and seek His guidance about what we can do about the situation.

In re: to my legal case, there are things you can do. Please check back to see my new posts about how you can act.

Joyfully serving Christ,

Lisa
